First Boardies Session of Season Goes to UK Rugby Players
September 22, 2011
Yep, we were down the beach today and saw Manu Tuilagi and Tom Woods surfing at St Clair with their masseur Paul Frawley and England’s conditioning coach Calvin Morriss. Manu and Tom both had ill-fitting wetsuits so took them off and went boardies for about an hour. I am impressed, boardies' surfs rock. It looked like it was Manu's first time, but he still caught a few, while the others were very competent out there. England rugby has turned a new leaf in my book. Check out the photos in next Tuesday's report. Have a great Friday!Dunedin Light Launches
September 20, 2011
The very first weekly report from Dunedin Light will go out on September 20, 2011 – right in the middle of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. That is intentional, our plan is to capture the visitors to our great city.
Driving Dunedin Light is photographer Derek Morrison, but there are several players behind the scenes who conspire to make this a success, including Blair Hughson, of Core Development, Jason Low, of Pitch Design, Josh Jenkins, of Tourism Dunedin, and the many businesses who support this innovative publishing approach.
We couldn’t have done this without the support from DunedinNZ.com, Adventure Media Group and www.derekmorrison.co.nz.
Most importantly we’d like to thank our subscribers who make our job so rewarding and keep us inspired to deliver more. If you haven’t already signed up for the weekly report do it now ... just up there at the top right of this page. Once you're signed up we will keep you connected. It’s free!
